I love Easter, and all the activities associated with it. This Easter was extremely different, in that there is a cloud of sadness over our families as we still mourn the loss of my dear cousin Jennifer and her baby girl Cassie. Resurrection Sunday has always been an important day, but this year the reminder of Christ’ sacrifice for sinners really hit home, and all I could think was “Thank you God..” because I just don’t want to imagine how sad life really would be if there wasn’t a Heaven and how wonderful He is to save us and bring us Home to eternal life.
I am so thankful for my husband, and our daughter….we are so blessed to be a part of such a loving, supportive and Christian family.
As spring arrives, so do the fields of wildflowers in our area, L-O-V-E them. One of my favorite fields is right down “Memory Lane”, which only few know of….and so me and my girl went and I played with metering and exposure, while she “sat pretty.” Here are two of my favorites! Next week, I hope to get to some purple fields!
All these babies turning one the past few weeks has been so much fun, and Miss “blue-eyed” Alyssa was no different. She was the sweetest thing, giving me smiles immediately when I walked into the room. She was quite content sitting in a chair while her fan club stood behind me smiling and calling her name. I think her “Gigi” is gonna love this sneak peek!
