“Baby’s dreams must be the sweetest, ” thought Pooh.

Yesterday’s newborn session was not typical. This little guy is 5 weeks old, so not exactly a newborn anymore. To mine and his mother’s surprise, he slept almost my entire visit and was a perfect little model. He was soft, squishy and everything sweet!

I just love his little squishy face in the B&W shot! The monkey hat is precious on him too. Great captures!!

Ben & Kayla say I do….{my take}

A few weeks ago I second shot a wedding behind the oh-so-fab Kari Vennard….we always have SUCH a blast together. She blogged the wedding, and to be honest, I hadn’t planned on sharing any photos…to me, her blog post about the wedding was so sweet, the photos were a great collaboration of our work (mostly hers though!) and well, why mess with a good thing? But a certain somebody pushed me to share …and so I am, just a few. Everything about this wedding was GORGEOUS. Best wishes to Ben & Kayla!

As many of you already know, one of my best friends is a photographer just like me….a mother who found passion for the camera after her first child was born. Which brings me to this….She and I thought it would be fun to do a few senior sessions together. This is our first callorabative session and I’m sure there will be many more. Here’s a sneak peek of a few shots I took!

So, meet Kaitlynn! She was so sweet and a very willing model for two camera-crazy ladies!
