{second chance love ♥}

This past Feburary, in honor of Valentines day, I had a facebook contest (are you fan?! if not, go ..now!! right H E R E) My great friend Kari of Kari Vennard Photography picked the winner. The entries were all about L-O-V-E..how they met their significant other or their favorite valentine memory. Here is the entry of the the winner, and here is a few pictures from their session.

“This year’s Valenday might just be my best ever! Twenty five years ago I was engaged to a young man. But we were too young and life got in the way. All of these years later we reconnected. I was divorced and he was widowed. We were blessed with a second chance at love. I am, once again, wearing his ring.”

How sweet is that?!

whittney + ian {i do…part 3}

After the toasts, cake cutting, and first dances were over, Whittney & Ian snuck away with us for their first official photos as Mr. & Mrs. Ian Rocha. It being Saturday night in the heart of a huge town center, they kept an audience, but I still think we still got some photos they’ll always treasure. They had a beautiful wedding, memorable reception, and I hear they had a fabulous honeymoon!

I love the pictures from Whittney and Ians Wedding. I can’t make up my mind on which one I like the best..Great job

Aubrey {class of 2011}

This senior session couldn’t have gone any better. Aubrey was polite, handsome and ready for the camera. His Mom, of course, tagged along and she was as sweet as her son. We hit up a few local picturesque areas and then headed over to Aubrey’s playground, I mean the baseball field! He’s headed to Georgia Southern next Fall on a baseball scholarship, and I can imagine how proud his family is. Here’s a look into our time together.

wordless wednesday {meet blake}

One of my most favorite aunts became a “Gramma.” I took my camera over to her house to meet Mr. Blake last week. So precious!!!! He is a perfect mix of his beautiful Mama and my cousin, his Daddy. I’m so happy for their little family <3

Next up, the reception. It was held at Jacksonville’s Maggiano’s Little Italy, and they did not disappoint. Warm lights, fresh flowers, and good food filled the room! My next and last blog on this beautiful wedding will include photos of Whittney & Ian’s mini-session during the reception <3 definitely my favorites!

Beautiful pictures, Dana. Do they have a Maggiano’s in Jax? I didn’t know that.
